But there's an easy trick to get around it. Here's a trick: Hold down the + button to access them faster. Another method goes through the Photos app. It feels like Apple's iOS has added a few annoying features in recent updates, like an extra tap to preview and save a screenshot, and a pop-up menu when you're simply looking to add a photo to a text in iMessage.

Kyiv, Ukraine – Russian air defence officials could very possibly have struck an Azerbaijani passenger jet over Chechnya after panicking during a Ukrainian drone attack, analysts and experts from Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have told Al Jazeera. Moscow might have also compounded what one expert described as a "crime" by not letting the damaged plane land nearby and instead forcing it to fly to Kazakhstan. The analysis by these experts comes amid mounting reports quoting unnamed Azerbaijani officials and other analysts pointing fingers at Russia for the crash, in which at least 38 people were killed. The Kremlin claimed that the AZAL 8432 flight with 67 passengers on board hit a flock of birds early Wednesday after it entered Russian airspace to land in Grozny, Chechnya's administrative capital. But within hours, photos and videos of the plane surfaced, apparently showing deep holes and multiple pockmarks on its tail.

Apple Intelligence is essentially a snazzy brand name for Apple's new-found focus on AI, triggered by the huge success of the ChatGPT. Here's a look at some of the best features of Apple Intelligence, which comes to the UK via the new iOS 18.2 operating system. Surely the biggest part of Apple Intelligence is the integration of OpenAI's hugely popular chatbot ChatGPT with Siri, Apple's in-built virtual assistant. With better'language-understanding capabilities' enabled by ChatGPT, Siri will help you across multiple apps and'accelerate everyday tasks', Apple said. You'll be able to press and hold the side button to activate Siri as normal, but with ChatGPT behind it Siri will be able to'answer thousands of questions about how to do something' that it couldn't before.

At first glance, "Jenny" looks like a young, attractive Asian-American woman with a penchant for posting flirty photos and captions on her X account. Even if some of her features look a little enhanced – her skin is unnaturally smooth and her bust unusually large for her petite frame – it is easy to look past the slight uncanniness of her appearance in an era of widespread cosmetic procedures and photo editing tools. In fact, Jenny is not a real person, but an artificial intelligence-generated model, available for hire as an online influencer or virtual companion. Jenny is the brainchild of LushAI, a startup that bills itself as the world's first AI-powered modelling agency aiming to rival OnlyFans, the subscription-based website best known for hosting adult content creators. Jenny offers essentially the same services as the human content creators that make up OnlyFans, except she is powered by an algorithm – which means she can work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

I've found myself at a loss for words when trying to explain the Humane AI Pin to my friends. The best description so far is that it's a combination of a wearable Siri button with a camera and built-in projector that beams onto your palm. But each time I start explaining that, I get so caught up in pointing out its problems that I never really get to fully detail what the AI Pin can do. Or is meant to do, anyway. Yet, words are crucial to the Humane AI experience. Your primary mode of interacting with the pin is through voice, accompanied by touch and gestures. Without speaking, your options are severely limited. The company describes the device as your "second brain," but the combination of holding out my hand to see the projected screen, waving it around to navigate the interface and tapping my chest and waiting for an answer all just made me look really stupid. When I remember that I was actually eager to spend 700 of my own money to get a Humane AI Pin, not to mention shell out the required 24 a month for the AI and the company's 4G service riding on T-Mobile's network, I feel even sillier. In the company's own words, the Humane AI Pin is the "first wearable device and software platform built to harness the full power of artificial intelligence." There are basically two parts to the device: the Pin and its magnetic attachment.
